The concept of Socialworld is to give students a trusted area that is localized, private and connected to all the organizations, clubs and groups you interact with daily. Student-run organizations will also be able to engage with the student community easier through the same great features and tools found in other social networking sites. That is what is really different about Socialworld – every student organization can have their own social network inside Socialworld. There’s a lot going on at any school so the purpose behind Socialworld is to make it easier for a you to plug into all that activity.

Of course, since a lot or most organizations have members and hold events of all kinds - social, theatrical, educational, fund-raising for community service projects, etc. – it seemed natural to mash up Acteva’s events services with a social network. So, we went out and found some ‘off the shelf’ social networking software (from Broadband Mechanics), customized it to meet your needs, and then integrated the Acteva software into it; the end result is Socialworld.
